While Sharna Burgess said yes to Brian Austin Green's proposal, the couple is saying no to a Las Vegas wedding.
In fact, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum said tying not the knot in Sin City would be a "terrible idea," and the former Dancing With the Stars pro agreed.
"Someone else said that to me," she exclusively told E! News Sept. 22 at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, which was also attended by Tom Sandoval, Jared Leto, Cynthia Bailey, Tim McGraw, Randy Spelling, Ryan Seacrest and more. "I was like, 'No, that's not happening.' The kids would kill us."
Sharna and Brian are parents to 14-month-old son Zane, and he shares kids Noah, 10; Bodhi, 9; and Journey, 7, with ex Megan Fox as well as son Kassius, 21, with ex Vanessa Marcil. The little ones even helped announce the couple's engagement.
In a video shared to Instagram Sept. 22, Brian and his children could be seen stacking their hands on top of each other before Sharna placed her hand on theirs—giving fans their first look at her diamond ring and captioning the clip, "Our latest chapter."
The engagement comes almost three years after the actor and the dancer first sparked romance rumors, with the duo later confirming their romance in early 2021. And their love has only grown from there.
"You are the kind of father I could've only dreamed of (and I did) for my children," Sharna wrote on Instagram in part of a July birthday tribute to Brian. "You are the kind of partner to me that I thought only existed in my journal writings. Life without you was pretty wonderful but life WITH you? It's a dream. It's MY dream and all that I asked and wished for that is now here and real and true."
