Amy Burrows has been an uber-fan of the Twilight series since the first film was released and along with Allie Henze, she's passing the super fan excitement on to other Twi-hards with a new tour business.

This month they launched TwilightSetTours.com which will host personalized tours of sets and filming locations around the Lower Mainland that have been used in Twilight movies so far. "I was excited from the moment I heard that they would be filming the second movie in Vancouver," said Burrows. Since the locations in the books are real, many around the world are already flocking to places such as Forks, Washington, La Push, and the Quileute Reservation.

Burrows and Henze were able to visit many of the sets for New Moon over the last few months, travelling from location to location, often being able to meet cast and network with crew members. Their exclusive, by-request tours are selling out quickly and Burrows assures they will be as discreet as possible, sticking to “public locations and places where you can view the sets from public property.”

Set tours are not uncommon, e.g. the Da Vinci Code tours in Paris, and Twilight tours in the actual towns where the stories take place are already seeing a boom in tourism. In Forks, they even host summer schools and arrange Vampire Baseball.

"Twilight is a huge phenomenon, people are extremely passionate about it," noted Burrows who predicts the top hot spots for Twi-tourists will be anywhere they're filming live; Bella's House, Jacob's House and the Cullen House, all of which are within the Metro Vancouver area. She also noted that their company will offer "create-your-own" tours based on the specific interests of the fan and arrange meet n' greets with cast whenever possible.

With four books and two movies in the can, fans can also look forward to Eclipse—the third movie of the series that will begin production in town this summer. New Moon has wrapped its filming in Vancouver and will finish up in Italy prior to its theatrical release mid-November 2009.
