Mario Testino has seen it all from behind his camera lens, so he knows a thing or two about positive energy.

And the royal family has got it.

"Photographing Princess Charlotte's christening was an amazing experience," the famed fashion and lifestyle photographer gushed in a statement upon the release of official portraits from royal baby No. 2's big day last Sunday. The Peruvian-born and London-based artist has been documenting momentous moments regularly for the royals since Princess Diana requested that he do the honors for a Vanity Fair spread in 1997.

"What impressed me the most was the energy of the family, and of that between the Duke and Duchess," Testino continued. "One sees how solid they are together and one gets a sense of their strong family values."

Four years into Kate Middleton and Prince William's marriage and we couldn't agree more with Testino's observation.

Kate, Will, Charlotte and her big brother, Prince George, couldn't have looked sweeter and more like a loving foursome in the images Testino produced. And he of course worked with the extended royal family as well, four generations all told from Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip to their great-grandchildren George and Charlotte.

"It was incredible to be able to document four generations of the British Royal Family together—the monarch and three heirs to the throne—and very heartwarming to see the close relationship between them all," Testino said.

"I am overwhelmed and honoured to be chosen to document this occasion and to carry on the documentation of the family that is the soul of this country, a country that has given me so much."
