Whether documenting her health journey on social media or on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Yolanda has been open about her experiences and determination to find a cure for the "invisible disability of Lyme Disease."

Along the way, she has received support from her family including daughter Bella Hadid who also suffers from the illness.

"I am also SO proud of my mom @yolanda.hadid today and everyday," she recently shared on social media. "I have seen you in bed, struggling for the past 5 years of our lives, thinking to myself 'why would this happen to such an angel?' You have been in more doctors labs and testing rooms every SINGLE day, then I have ever seen in my life... To find a CURE for people around the world."

Despite her past and present struggles, Yolanda is keeping busy and focusing on her passions.

In addition to making a return to modeling, the newly single reality star is also set to release a memoir next February titled Believe Me: My Battle With the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease.
