Attention Pope Francis, a few famous faces in Hollywood are here to see you.
Sunday turned out to be quite the star-studded evening for the religious leader who attended an event at the Vatican to promote the work of a foundation titled Scholas Occurrentes.
The arts organization founded by Pope Francis aims to bring together children from different backgrounds, with the hope of achieving peace and understanding.
During the event, the Pope awarded medals to Richard Gere, George Clooney and Salma Hayek after the actors agreed to be ambassadors for one of the foundation's art projects.
"I can not love him more," Salma wrote on Instagram as she spent time backstage with her daughter and the proud Catholic. "When in Rome, speak with your hands. At least I made him laugh."
While it was her husband receiving an award, Amal Clooney was also more than happy to make the trip. In pictures obtained by E! News, both George and Amal couldn't stop smiling when meeting the 266th Pope of the Roman Catholic Church.
Amal wore a chic, Atelier Versace dress with Jimmy Choo shoes. Meanwhile, George looked handsome as ever in a classic suit and tie.
For those who don't recall, Pope Francis has had the opportunity to meet more than a few talented Hollywood stars before.
In addition to Angelina Jolie and Russell Crowe, the religious leader recently met the one and only Leonardo DiCaprio to discuss climate change.
"It was amazing, an amazing experience," Leo shared with E! News' Brad Goreski when reliving his 15-minute meeting.
