Jessica Alba is one proud, busy mother.

As the self-made mogul continues to find huge success with The Honest Company, the businesswoman is also hard at work raising two beautiful girls with husband Cash Warren.

While Jessica is quick to identify herself as a Latina, the actress is admitting in a new interview that her daughters may find it a bit more difficult to identify with mom's culture.

"I grew up around my Mexican-American grandparents. My grandmother was an incredibly strong woman a great influence on me," she shared in Parents Latina magazine. "I was also surrounded by tios [uncles] and tias [aunts] at a lot of family events. My kids don't have same constant proximity."

She continued, "I make sure they know where they came from and that they spend time with their relatives, but they're not surrounded by it all the time. We have different cultures in the house."

That culture involves learning about several languages and communities from all around the world. And for those curious, Honor, 7, and Haven, 4, are already speaking a few Spanish words everywhere they go.

"They know how to ask for besos [kisses] and leche [milk]," Jessica explained. "They are going to be global citizens and will need to understand many languages, including Spanish, to make a difference in the world."

She continued, "My heritage is all about family, which always comes first. And respect for yourself and for your elders is something that I'm passing on to my daughters."

The latest issue of Parents Latina magazine is now available.
