When the last of Steve Harvey's kids was finally out of the house, there was one thing he knew he wanted to do: Cook in the nude!
"The first morning they left, I went in the kitchen...[and] I was just frying bacon naked," he recently revealed on The Meredith Vieira Show.
The 58-year-old father of seven said he "just always wanted to try" making breakfast in the buff, and apparently it's quite a trip! Meredith warned Steve, however, of "what could have happened" if he'd been hit with grease, um, down there.
"One splatter," she said with a laugh, "and that could've been it!"
But this didn't concern Steve in the slightest. "One splatter?" he nodded his head. "Meredith, that just would've been one little splash. When you have a lot of area, it don't matter!"
Ha! Steve didn't only talk about meat during his visit to The Meredith Vieira Show—he surprised a super-fan and was even presented with a custom bobble head doll.
Between his talk show, his radio show, his best-selling books and beyond, Steve is definitely keeping busy these days. He isn't even just working hard for himself anymore, either—it's for his family!
"It's not about me anymore...I ain't working for me," he said on an episode of The Steve Harvey Show when his kids came on to surprise him. "I'm working for them. I've got four full-time jobs for them. It's so that when...when I'm done, I want you all to just have remembered that somebody cared more about you than himself. I want you to care more about someone else than yourself."
"I will defend your honor until I die. I love all of you," he gushed. "This is what it is for me. This is the greatest moment I've ever had. I'm very proud to be your father."
They should be proud to have him as a dad, too—even if that means needing to call before any impromptu breakfast visits!
