Love is in the air!
The first photos of Dexter star Jennifer Carpenter with her new beau Seth Avett—of Avett Brothers fame—have just surfaced.
The two were seen packing on the PDA as they walked to grab breakfast at a local café in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Seth had his arm wrapped tightly around his leading lady as the new couple strolled through the parking lot. And it looks like this duo is spending lots of time together as of late. Case in point? They're practically matching!
Both were spotted completely dressed down in a pair of blue jeans and a T-shirt—they even rocked similar aviator sunglasses as well!
Rumors began swirling that the pair's longtime friendship had taken a romantic turn when Avett announced his separation from wife Susan in June.
However, Avett himself revealed in a message on the band's website at that time that he and Susan had "been separated for some time."
"As I'm sure you will understand, this is a very difficult and painful time for us and our families," he added in the statement.
Carpenter was previously married to her Dexter costar (and on-screen brother), Michael C. Hall on New Year's Eve in 2008.
The actors later announced their official separation in August 2010 and had their divorce finalized in December 2011.
So perhaps it isn't just a coincidence that the Avett Brothers' last album was dubbed The Carpenter?!
