Somehow, Sinéad O'Connor still manages to surprise us.
The Irish singer-songwriter debuted two new face tattoos during her performance Friday at Day 2 of the Bestival 2013 in England.
As O'Connor belted out the tunes to her hit songs, her apparent new tats took center stage during show, as the singer shielded her eyes with sunglasses, while showing off the tiny "B" and "Q" cursive red inkings on her cheeks.
While it's unclear whether the tattoos are real, it wouldn't be a far stretch for the unpredictable star, who is famous for her rather kooky behavior.
The "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer addressed the facial tats on her website, posting a cryptic message in regards to the meaning behind her cheeky markings.
"Brendan Quinlan.. "It's what it is".. Un ange passe ; )," she wrote. "There's a bottle of Agent Provocateur in someone's room that Belongs to me."
Props to the first person who can decipher the performer's mystery missive.
What do you think of Sinéad's new ink?
