Jennifer Love Hewitt's Fiancé Brian Hallisay Accused of Battery After Alleged Paparazzo Scuffle

Supposed altercation apparently took place after Hallisay asked photographer to stop snapping photos of him and the pregnant actress

Jennifer Love Hewitt's fiancé, Brian Hallisay, apparently was not in the mood to have his picture taken.

LAPD Media Relations confirms to E! News that a battery report was taken against Hallisay after he got into an alleged scuffle with a paparazzo on Friday, Sept. 6.

It seems the couple, who are expecting their first child together, had just finished eating dinner at Toscana restaurant in Brentwood, Calif., when a photographer began snappig pics of the pair as they were leaving the establishment, TMZ reports.

After asking the shutterbug to stop, apparently to no avail, Hallisay allegedly got physical with the pap, who claims he was injured near his eye after his camera supposedly hit his face during the confrontation.

Hewitt reportedly felt bad about the incident and apparently allowed the cameraman to subsequently take a few more pictures.

But following the alleged altercation, the pap went to a police station and filed the report against Hallisay.

E! News has been told that there were no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
