Avatar cost $250 million $500 million—let's just say, it cost a lot. Murkier still is whether it'll make a lot. Is the big, blue James Cameron epic, opening Friday, the next Titanic, the blockbuster—or the next Titanic, the disaster?

Box-office analyst Paul Dergarabedian of Hollywood.com, for one, doesn't foresee the sci-fi flick getting taken out by an iceberg. "Will it make back its budget? It will," he says.

Dergarbedian thinks the movie can gross at least $250 million worldwide—maybe even $500 million. Now, it's your turn.
