Marc Cherry Says Sarah Palin Rumor Not True

Gasp! Could the barracuda, pit bull, "Thrilla from Wasilla" hockey mom Sarah Palin be guesting on Desperate Housewives? According to the New York Post today, Marc Cherry wants to put the former veep nominee in the season finale.

Well, this just in! (That's always fun to say.) We just got exclusive word from Marc's camp directly and he's telling us a different story...

Desperate Housewives executive producer Sabrina Wind just emailed to me: "I just wanted to tell you from Marc himself that there is no validity to this odd claim. There is no way Sarah Palin will be coming on Desperate Housewives."

If that doesn't put this silly rumor to rest, you tell me what will!

Meanwhile, Desperate Housewives is poised to air its much-talked-about inferno episode this Sunday at 9 p.m. on ABC. Trust me, you do not want to miss it. You heard not everyone makes it out of the fire alive, right?
