Arrested Reunion? Dare We Dream?

Many of you have been writing in asking about the rumor that the Arrested Development could be "making a comeback."

Well, much like the illustrious Tobias Fünke, I consider myself to be quite the investigative analrapist, especially when it comes to our beloved Bluths, so allow me to explore the case...

The Arrested Development comeback rumor started with a site called Blues News, which quoted Jason Bateman as saying he believes an Arrested reunion will happen (via movie or cable) and that: "The boss Mitch Hurwitz, I believe, is eager to do it; he's got a master plan, he's probably got timing worked out."

I rang up Bateman, and he tells me that although there's nothing concrete in the works right now (depressing but not surprising what with the writers' strike and all), "the talk of a movie version is always there." Bateman also says that "until Mitch makes it happen, we all just sit ready and willing." Um...ditto.

Dear Mr. Hurwitz,

On behalf of the fans, I'd like to request you put an Arrested reunion at the top of your To Do When Strike Ends list. Thank you.

Signed,
Kristin Dos Santos and all the Arrested fans who are kind enough to show their support in the Comments section below...
