Bachelorette Host: Jillian and Ed Still Planning a Wedding
Cheating sucks, as does being wrongfully accused of it, so we were glad to hear that Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski appear to have survived their first big bump in the road.
"I talked to Jillian twice the last couple of days," The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison told E! News when we caught up with him at the KIIS-FM/Teen Choice Awards Gift Lounge at the W Hotel Westwood. "She's doing good. Obviously they aren't enjoying the press."
Jillian and Ed woke up last week to an Us Weekly cover screaming that Ed carried on two separate flings while he was wooing his eventual fiancée—an allegation that both firmly denied.
"They kind of thought they'd go off into the sunset and this has kind of turned their world upside down again, which they weren't prepared for," Harrison said.
"Towards the end I just thought her and Ed were great," Harrison said. "When we got to the final three…I told her, 'You know what, I don't think you can go wrong."
But the happily married host of The Bachelor and Bachelorette has seen a lot in 18 cycles of the two shows, and he helpfully steered Jillian back toward Ed when Reid Rosenthal showed up on the finale to pop the question himself.
Jillian and Ed are still planning to tie the knot "within a year," he said. "I'll certainly be at that wedding."

Inside Michael Jackson's Bedroom
So this is what it looks like.
E! News scored an exclusive tour of the Las Vegas mansion the King of Pop rented while negotiating a possible comeback gig—and though any personal items belonging to the eccentric artist are long gone, it's still fascinating to put a place to the increasingly odd face.
Here's the scoop we got from realtor Zar Zanganeh, who leased the 10-bedroom house to Jackson in 2006 and 2007 and is now showing it for seller Carolyn Mullany Coldwell Banker Premiere Realty:

"It's Going to Be a Disaster": Associate Says Jackson Was Too Weak for Major Comeback
One of the dreamers who tried to reboot Michael Jackson's career says the late King of Pop wasn't fit enough to hit the stage for the "greatest comeback show ever" two years ago, let alone this summer.
"It would have happened had I assessed that Michael was capable mentally, emotionally, vocally to do it. At the end of it, we decided no, he wasn't," Jack Wishna, president of consultancy CPAmerica and the orchestrator of Jackson's return to the U.S. after a year spent living abroad, exclusively tells E! News.
The idea that they danced around from mid-2006 to mid-2007, and again earlier this year, was to have Jackson in residence at a Las Vegas hotel, where he'd star in a concert spectacular called Michael Jackson Presents that would also feature guest appearances by the latest R&B hitmakers.
"Michael says, 'I have this huge statue of me in full regalia, moon boots,'" Wishna recalled. "I want the hotel to encase it in the wall and the nights I'm in performance the statue comes out to the center of the strip so the world knows that I'm here," Jackson said, according to Wishna. "It would come out on a conveyor belt."
But though concert promoter AEG Live said that Jackson passed a physical with flying colors earlier this year, Wishna maintains that the 50-year-old artist had been in a "weakened state" and wasn't able to do three shows a month in 2007, much less maintain a more rigorous schedule now.

Brangelina's Ex-Bodyguard Still Mulling Tell-All
This former bodyguard to the stars is still deciding whether to dish his A-list details.
Mickey Brett, who prompted Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to put their legal team on standby just in case, tells E! News that he is still pondering whether to pen a memoir recounting his tales from the field working for such celebs as Brangelina, Tom Cruise and Sandra Bullock.
"I have not decided if I will write it or not yet," Brett said Thursday.
The New York Daily News reported in April that Brett was shopping a ghost-written tome that, while it treated Jolie favorably, had some lesser things to say about her mate.
Beverly Hills legal eagle Martin Singer has insisted that Brett would be in violation of a confidentiality agreement if he told all about working for the Jolie-Pitt family (a tenure that included a bust for assault in Namibia and several run-ins with the paparazzi).
Singer didn't mind spilling a few secrets, however, telling the Daily News that his clients' ex-employee was once questioned as part of a murder investigation and was not a former British SAS commando as he once claimed.

With Jon & Kate on Separate Vacations, TLC Looking for the Next Plus 8?
With Jon the only Gosselin on the home front at the moment, TLC appeared to have gone looking for its next big brood.
But according to the network, it was an affiliated production company that posted a casting call on Craigslist for parents expecting an imminent multiple birth.
"TLC is now looking for NY, NJ, and CT families who are expecting twins, triplets, or more!," read the post, which has since been taken down. "We would capture the birth of the babies and witness their amazing first breath, first cry, and all the emotions that go along with such an incredible occasion. TLC will be there as you leave the hospital and adjust to your first few days at home as a family."
Apparently encouraged by last week's record-breaking season premiere of Jon & Kate Plus 8, the network is in fact planning a new daytime special, Bringing Home Baby. But it is not the new Jon & Kate, according to TLC.
Obviously, since this special is all about a birth, there isn't much of a chance the cameras would be around long enough to capture things going so terribly, terribly wrong after the fact.
Speaking of which, possibly scorned wife and mom Kate Gosselin is still flaunting her impressive postbaby abs while on vacation with the kids, but hubby Jon has returned to the roost.

Ex-Idol Singer Jessica Sierra: "Dr. Drew Saved My Life"
Score one for Celebrity Rehab.
Jessica Sierra, the fourth-season American Idol contestant who became far more famous for her postshow troubles than anything she accomplished onstage, credits her time spent under the care of real-life M.D. and TV savior Dr. Drew Pinsky—and, interestingly, a media ban—for saving her from the ravages of substance abuse.
"I did have an issue with drugs and alcohol, and I think the media just intensified that for me," Sierra, who completed her latest treatment program with Drew in January, said in an exclusive sit-down with E! News. "I think the media ban did save my life."
Following an arrest for disorderly conduct and resisting an officer in December 2007, a Florida judge sentenced the aspiring singer to 12 months in rehab for violating probation on a previous drug bust and ordered her to stay at least 100 feet away from the media's cameras and microphones.
"Being a young girl and being thrown on a stage with all this media attention…it's all around you," says Sierra. "You're going out to clubs and you're hanging out with all these people and it's fun and it's exciting and you don't really know what to do with it.
"Addiction, it just got me."
Britney Takes Her Boys for a Little Gator Aid
Finally, an adventure that the whole Spears clan could get behind.
A day after 2-year-old Jayden James was released from the hospital after suffering an allergic reaction, Britney took her brood to a wild alligator farm in Hammond, La., a short hop from the Spears' Kentwood abode.
The group, which included Britney, Jayden, 3-year-old Sean Preston, Jamie Lynn Spears and her daughter, Maddie, and matriarch Lynne Spears, appeared to be in good spirits, an eyewitness told E! News.
Jayden sidled right up to the chain-link fence surrounding the nests to get a closer look at the creatures populating Kliebert's Turtle and Alligator Tours, while big brother Sean preferred the safety of grandma Lynne's arms.
According to Kliebert's website, the farm, which has been raising alligators for nearly five decades, features thousands of alligators, as well as turtles and a bird sanctuary.
FBI Seizes Miley Hacker's Hardware
You don't mess with Miley Cyrus and expect no one to notice.
The Tennessee apartment of Josh Holly, the admitted hacker who bragged about breaking into Cyrus' old email account and posting racy pictures of the teen star online, was raided Monday morning in connection with his alleged dirty deeds, reports Wired.com's Threat Level blog.
The FBI did not immediately return calls for comment, but Cyrus' attorney, William Sobel, tells E! News, "This is an ongoing investigation and we appreciate the efforts of the FBI."
