Melissa Etheridge to Adam Lambert: "Don't Believe Everything They Say"
Melissa Etheridge predicted something like this might happen.
She spoke as if she were reading a crystal ball when we chatted at the American Music Awards before Adam Lambert's controversial sex-charged performance.
We asked Ms. Etheridge what advice she'd give to the out and proud 27-year-old glam rock Idol star. Little did we know that her well-seasoned words were a foreshadowing of things to come later that night...

Dancing With the Stars' Mya: What She'd Do With the Disco Ball Trophy
What does one do after spending about 14 weeks working on Dancing With the Stars?
Get some much needed rest.
"I definitely need a break to allow my ankle to heal properly for about a couple of weeks," Mya told me earlier today during a break from rehearsing tonight's finale.
Mya and partner Dmitry Chaplin proved last night why they are this season's best dancers. They nabbed two perfect scores for their paso doble and the megamix, and a 27 for their Hairspray freestyle.
And Mya is also fun to talk to—no matter how tired she may be. I'm going to miss waking up to her voice every Tuesday morning. Read on for the last of our exclusive weekly chats.

She and her hips are wanted over at ABC's new hit comedy Modern Family.

Selena Gomez: I'm Not Hating on Twilight!
Selena Gomez wants you to know that she never said she doesn't like Twilight.
The Disney darling has been getting a lot of flack from Twi-hards because they're feeling like she dissed the world's most talked-about vampire franchise when she told Bonnie Hunt last week that she hasn't actually seen Twilight.
"All I said was that I didn't watch it and I felt bad for not watching it," Selena explained to me at yesterday's American Music Awards. "But of course, now it's like, 'I don't like it.' That's not the case."
And Selena is brave enough to admit that—gasp!—she hasn't read any of Stephenie Meyer's Twi-novels, either. "I feel bad," she said. "And I'm sorry if I offended anyone for that."
Selena certainly wasn't the only one talking Twilight and New Moon at the AMAs. Read on for more…

Beating the Crap Out Of Robert Pattinson Edward
The thought of Robert Pattinson getting hurt is just too much too bear, isn't it?
But that's exactly what could have happened if anything had gone wrong during his and Daniel Cudmore's big, violent fight scene in New Moon.
Cudmore, the Tom Brady-esque hunkster who plays Volturi vampire Felix, said some of the stunts got a little too close for comfort when he and Pattinson went at it.
"Because of my contacts, my peripheral vision was off, so there were a couple of times where I thought I was going to really hit him," Cudmore recalled at the New Moon premiere in L.A. "Luckily, I didn't."
Maybe that's why Pattinson seemed a bit nervous when they first began working on the scene...
True Blood Star Camping Out for New Moon Tix?!
Alexander Skarsgård can't wait to start shooting the next season of True Blood.
"It's been like five or six months since I've seen most of them," Skarsgård, who plays vampire Eric on the hit HBO series, told me at the GQ Men of the Year party. "I miss the whole cast and crew. It's sort of my family away from my family in Sweden."
In the meantime, there is that other bloodsucking megahit phenomenon sweeping the world universe to keep everyone company. So, will Mr. Skarsgård be checking out New Moon?
"When does it open?" he said, smiling. "I'll get my sleeping bag and wait in line." (P.S.: Maybe Kate Bosworth will join him. The maybe-couple were quite adorable in their comfy coziness at the GQ party).
Now back to vampires, Skarsgård isn't the only one cracking jokes—at least we think he was joking—about camping out to see the return of Robert Pattinson & Co...

Glee Star Grateful for Thanksgiving Parade Ban
Glee's Mark Salling may have wanted to perform in this year's Thanksgiving Day parade in NYC, but he's also sorta happy that NBC decided to ban the musical television show from the annual festivities.
"I'm gonna watch it," says Salling, who plays football stud Puck. "I got no hard feelings. But I'll catch it from home in Dallas, Texas, with family, which was allowed to happen by NBC not inviting us. So I am not complaining. Thank you, NBC!"
Lea Michele, who stars on the show as Rachel Berry, also insists she'll tune in...
Kellan and Peter Open Up About Holding Hands
Kellan Lutz isn't too worried about the discovery of a photo of him and Peter Facinelli holding hands.
"That one is fine," Lutz told me with a laugh at the New Moon premiere. "It's the naked one of us in the bubble bath that would really get us into trouble."
If only Mr. Lutz was serious. But obviously, he's not...
