Desperate Housewives Plane-Crash Shocker: Two Leading Ladies Will Be Hit Hard
Newsflash: You so do not want to buy property on Wisteria Lane.
Sources are spilling details on the big Desperate Housewives plane crash planned for the show's year-end cliffhanger next month, and it looks like not one but two of the main housewives will be hit hard by the tragedy.
In fact, the plane is going to crash into the house of one of the lovely ladies you see above.
And another Housewife pictured above is in serious jeopardy of losing two loved ones.
You know how they always give that tease "This is the episode that will change everything?" Well, it looks like this time they aren't lying.
So who's gonna get hit?
This Just In: Desperate Housewives May Never Die
Desperate Housewives: Marc Cherry has extended his contract with ABC Studios for another two years, which could keep Desperate Housewives on the air through at least 2013. Of course the big question is whether the cast's main players—Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria Parker, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross—will want to go that long. They're currently only committed through the 2010-2013 season. And let's face it, with all the natural disasters on Wisteria Lane (tornadoes, planes falling out of the sky), it'd be a bloody miracle if anyone survived that long.
D'oh! Simpsons actor Dan Castellaneta will play the pilot of the small plane that will crash on Desperate Housewives, mowing over a few people along the way. We suppose Greg Grunberg wasn't available?
Long Live Chuck! No official word yet from NBC, but sources confirm that Trauma will not go past its current 13-episode order, making room for Chuck to return on Monday nights early next year. Somewhere, Zachary Levi and Josh Gomez are doing a bromantic tango to celebrate.
Glee: As proof that not all E! Online writers agree on the music of Glee, this die-hard Gleek will point out that the cast's rendition of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" has just been certified Gold for digital sales in excess of 500,000 downloads. Boo-ya! So far, more than 2 million Glee songs have been bought online.
This Just In: Mia Michaels Finally Explains SYTYCD Departure
• So You Think You Can Dance: Mia Michaels finally did an interview about her sudden departure from SYTYCD, and she says it wasn't because she's got cancer or is going crazy, but rather, "When I was working on the show, I wasn't able to really focus on anything else. Now I'm really focusing on these other projects that I can't pass up. I think that’s pretty much the main reason why I left the show." Hmph. On the good side, however, Michaels also revealed, "Right now [I'm] in talks [to do] my own choreography show." Holler!
• Melrose Place: The first promo of Heather Locklear on Melrose Place is out. The 21-second commercial features shots of Locklear stalking through Ella's PR firm intercut with the tagline, "Amanda's back...you better watch yours."
• Lost: Carlton Cuse revealed via a series of Twitter riddles that creepy character actor William Atherton is guest starring on Lost this season.

Lost Plane May Crash on Wisteria Lane
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a ratings stunt!
Marc Cherry has confirmed that a plane is going to come crashing down on Desperate Housewives' Wisteria Lane this season, for the show's midseason cliffhanger.
And now ABC sources are spilling this cool little nugget of info: The plane might end up being none other than one from Lost's Oceanic Airlines.
So wait a minute, does that mean that if/when Lost resets this season with an alternate reality (if that hydrogen bomb did actually go off), Jack, Kate, Sawyer and the gang could crash on Wisteria Lane instead of the island?
This Just In: Whitney Houston Not Really Joining Desperate Housewives
Desperate Housewives: Reps for the ABC drama scoff at rumors that Whitney Houston is in talks to join the cast. Do you think Whitney should take up TV acting? What show do you see her on?
Gossip Girl: It's true, there will be a Gossip threesome, but sources are staying mum on the deets.
Gossip Girl: Sources confirm that Lady Gaga appears as herself in an upcoming episode.
How I Met Your Mother: Mo Ryan reports that Tim Gunn is set to guest star as himself on HIMYM's 100th episode. Gunn will help famously besuited Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) resolve a sartorial crisis.
The Vampire Diaries: Everybody's a-twitter about these promo stills from the Oct. 15 flashback episode. Hoopskirts, ahoy!

Could There Be a Desperate Housewives Double Wedding?
Two brides!
Hey, what is this, some sort of experimental polygamist thing?
Or could there be a double wedding in the works on Desperate Housewives, wherein Teri Hatcher as Susan Mayer marries one guy and Dana Delany as Katherine Mayfair marries another?
Or are the producers just playing with us? That's probably what's going on here, and since the Desperate Housewives folks have given us the oh-so-juicy (and lovely) photo of the two brides above, we're going to have some fun, too, with a Desperate Housewives poll.
Help us decide: Who's the more beautiful bride, and which one of these women is going to marry James Denton's Mike Delfino?
This Just In: Want to Know Who Mike Is Marrying on Desperate Housewives?
• Desperate Housewives: A studio-lot spy snapped a photo that may reveal the identity of Mike Delfino's bride on Desperate Housewives. Wanna see?
• The Big Bang Theory: Ugh! Apparently Penny and Leonard are a go for romance on The Big Bang Theory. As Penny-Sheldon partisans, this displeases us.
• Big Love: Extreme hottie Adam Beach—if you haven't seen Smoke Signals, go rent it now, please—is joining the cast of HBO's Big Love as a principal in Bill Henrickson's Indian gaming deal.
• Futurama: The original voice cast of Futurama is not coming back for the new episodes, because Fox won't meet their fee. On behalf of loyal fans everywhere, we are taking this personally.
• Sons of Anarchy: In other, happier news relating to Katey Sagal, Sons of Anarchy show runner Kurt Sutter has updated his blog with the first new season-two footage.
So what do you think of that Desperate Housewives spoiler, the upcoming BBT romance and the new SOA footage? Post in the comments!
Desperate Housewives: Who's Under the Veil?
The news of Andrea Bowen returning to Desperate Housewives for the season-six premiere is sparking debate that her homecoming means Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher) is at the altar, behind the veil and getting married to Mike Delfino (James Denton).
Spoiler Alert: We're giving you every chance not to peek inside at the evidence we've compiled because all signs point to one Wisteria Lane resident over the others.
Here are the five reasons to support who we think is under the veil...
Desperate Housewives Casts Drea de Matteo as New Vixen
It's true. ABC confirms that Drea de Matteo has joined the cast of Desperate Housewives for season six.
With Edie (Nicollette Sheridan) dead and another housewife getting married, executive producer Marc Cherry needed to infuse Fairview with some new blood before the women start playing old maid instead of poker.
Find out what her role on Wisteria Lane holds in store below...
