Tara Reid Out of Rehab? Not So Fast

Has Tara Reid kicked off the new year by checking out of rehab?
Citing an unnamed source, People had reported earlier today that the 33-year-old American Pie actress checked out of Promises Treatment Center in Malibu on Saturday, after just three weeks in the upscale facility.
But publicist Jack Ketsoyan tells E! News that word of Reid's departure is premature and that "it's not true" that she has left rehab.
There has been no word on what the party girl is being treated for. When she was admitted last month, Ketsoyan would only say, "We appreciate your respect to her and her family's privacy at this time."
UPDATE: People has since changed its story and removed its reference to Reid leaving rehab.
