Maybe Vinnie Jones mistook his surroundings for a Chelsea-Arsenal match.
The 43-year-old Brit, a professional soccer player turned actor in films such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, was arrested Thursday night in South Dakota after allegedly brawling in a Sioux Falls bar.
A Sioux Falls Police Department spokesman tells E! News that Jones was busted for simple assault, a Class 1 misdemeanor, for punching a guy at Wiley's, an area watering hole.
But the guy who was supposedly on the receiving end of Jones' fists of fury wasn't the only casualty—the former footballer ended up with a bloodied nose that required a doctor's care, and the actual arrest took place at a nearby hospital.
"Mr. Jones allegedly got hit with a beer glass," the police rep said. "Mr. Jones then allegedly punched someone else who was not involved in the fight." Without going into detail, he could only confirm that "injuries were sustained."
Jones, who also blasted onto the big screen as Juggernaut in X-Men: The Last Stand, was booked and released late this morning after posting a $400 bond.
