Skating with Celebrities champs Kristy Swanson and Lloyd Eisler have just salchowed into parenthood.

The couple, who met while paired up for the Fox reality show and subsequently—and scandalously—paired up offscreen, welcomed a baby boy named Magnus Hart Swanson into their brood.

"We are absolutely ecstatic at the arrival of our first child. Magnus is a wonderful little boy," Swanson said in a statement.

Magnus was born in the wee hours of Friday in Los Angeles, weighing in 7 pounds, 11 ounces. He is the first child for Swanson and the third for Eisler, who has two children from his first marriage.

Baby news aside, it hasn't exactly been smooth skating for the duo oustide the rink.

They were assigned as teammates for Skating with Celebrities in the summer of 2005, when the show was pretaped for a January 2006 debut. By the time it aired, Swanson and Eisler had been dating for a month. They ultimately became the show's underdog winners.

At the time of their coupling, Eisler was married, and his wife, Marcie, was expecting a child. She has told reporters she was “shocked, upset and betrayed” at the news of the affair, claiming she and her husband were “working on their relationship” when the show asked him to participate.

The new couple announced their pregnancy news in August, with Eisler waxing paternal in a statement.

"I love being a father and there is nothing that can replace that little smile from your baby knowing that you have made that happen," he said.

Aside from her skating foray, Swanson, 37, is probably best known for her role as the original Buffy in 1992's big-screen Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She has also starred in such films as The Chase, Big Daddy and Dude, Where's My Car?

Eisler, 43, is a two-time Olympic pairs figure-skating medalist and world champion.

The Los Angeles-based couple say they will marry, but have not yet set a date.
