Mackenzie Phillips is taking it two counts at a time these days.

The One Day at a Time star was officially charged with two felonies today in connection with last week's drug bust at Los Angeles International Airport.

Phillips, 48, faces one felony count each of possession of cocaine and heroin after she allegedly tried to smuggle small baggies of the narcotics past security screeners Aug. 27.

She was also slapped with a misdemeanor count of unauthorized possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe. (View the criminal complaint.)

Phillips' attorney confirmed that she has entered a drug-treatment program.

Phillips remains free on $10,000 bail.

According to officials, TSA staff found the illicit substances after asking the sobriety-challenged actress-singer to submit to a secondary screening and she spontaneously declared that she was "holding." She later admitted to officers that she had a "drug problem."

She wound up spending a night in jail before posting her bail.

Phillips' drug woes sidetracked a once-promising career. She has claimed to have been exposed to drugs as a kid by her late father, John Phillips, founder of The Mamas & the Papas, and she has made several stops in rehab in the past three decades.

Because she is currently in treatment, Phillips' arraignment, originally set for Friday, has now been rescheduled for October.
