The former star of TV's Sister, Sister is taking on a new role: motherhood.

A rep for Tia Mowry confirms to E! News that she and her actor-husband of two years, Cory Hardrict, welcomed a baby boy this morning in Los Angeles.

This is the first child for the couple who tied the knot in April 2008 and announced last January they were expecting.

No word on his measurements or what they plan to name the little bundle of joy.

The 32-year-old Mowry and her identical twin sister Tamera played twins separated at birth and then reunited as teenagers in the '90s Sister, Sister. The Emmy-winning sitcom first aired on ABC; when it was canceled after two seasons, WB picked it up and aired the series for another four.

Tia now headlines the BET comedy-drama The Game, and the Style Network reportedly plans to air an episode chronicling her pregnancy later this year.

Hardrict broke into the business in the late '90s with various appearances on hit TV shows such as ER, Once and Again, Boston Public, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. His big-screen credits include Crazy/Beautiful, Gran Torino and most recently Battle: Los Angeles.
