If  "Judas" was about a bad boyfriend, is "The Edge of Glory" about...well, you know?

Actually, according to Lady Gaga herself, the third single off her very much anticipated third album, Born This Way, was inspired by her late grandfather and is about "your last moment on earth, the moment of truth, the moment before you leave earth."

Er, so she says. Let's just say, if Glee ends up covering this one, we may be looking at another "Like a Virgin" sequence.

"I'm on the edge of glory/ And hanging on a moment with you/ I'm on the edge with you," Lady Gaga sings in this latest tune.

And she's waiting for a moment of truth.

But whether you choose to read between the lines or not, like her celebration of uniqueness and freedom that is "Born This Way," being on the edge sounds like a rollicking good time.

P.S.: That's E Street Band man Clarence Clemons wailing away on the saxophone.
