Phoenix's Finest has just released the 911 call the former Malcom in the Middle star made that earned him and Elycia Turnbow matching disorderly conduct citations over a heated argument just before Valentine's Day.
"My girlfriend is drunk and she's going crazy and she's trashing my house," an exasperated Muniz tells the dispatcher in the Feb. 12 call. "She's going crazy. She's hitting me in the face. I don't know what to do cause I'm...about to lose control."
Police responding to the call found a handgun in the house that Turnbow voluntarily turned over for safekeeping. She alleged Muniz held the gun to his head, possibly with the "intent of committing suicide"—a charge he has since denied.
"I don't want to make a big deal because I'm a celebrity. I don't want there to be a big deal," the 25-year-old actor-musician says in the call as his 33-year-old gal-pal can be heard raging in the background. "I actually don't want you guys to come out...Can you talk to her and tell her to calm down?"
The 911 operator asks Muniz his name, which he gives her, before telling her his version of the story.
"I was literally sleeping. We had a pretty bad day but she came in and literally punched me in the face," he said.
He admits that Turnbow had been drinking, but stressed he doesn't want to press any charges.
In the police report, however, Turnbow stated that the pair began arguing late on Feb. 11 and it was Muniz who "punched her in the back of the head" and "threw her into a wall."
Muniz disputed that, saying nothing physical went down.
In the 911 tape, the former child star said he sought treatment at a local hospital after he "slipped and fell and hit my head," which jibes with what he told officers on the scene. He also admitted that while he did not put the gun to his head, he did grab the gun case.
The couple now appears to have reconciled. Muniz posted photos on Twitter of their Valentine's Day celebration and his s rep released a statement last week insisting that they "are still together and are moving forward with their lives and with their relationship."
