Katy Perry's breasts are just too big for Sesame Street.

Big Bird & Co. have bounced the sexy singer from their 'hood after a bunch of prudish parents emailed in their complaints about Perry's boobies upstaging Elmo in an upcoming episode.

The trouble started earlier this week with the online release of Perry performing her hit "Hot N Cold" with the little red muppet. The YouTube clip was billed as a sneak peek of the venerable kiddie show's season premiere.

Apparently some folks got a little too much peek.

They went whining about Perry's supposedly too revealing lime-green bustline, forcing Sesame's makers to pull the segment from next Monday's episode.

"In light of the feedback we've received on the Katy Perry music video which was released on YouTube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of Sesame Street, which is aimed at preschoolers," Sesame Workshop said in a statement today. "Katy Perry fans will still be able to view the video on YouTube.

"Sesame Street has a long history of working with celebrities across all genres, including athletes, actors, musicians and artists. Sesame Street has always been written on two levels, for the child and adult," the statement continued. "We use parodies and celebrity segments to interest adults in the show because we know that a child learns best when co-viewing with a parent or care-giver. We also value our viewer's opinions and particularly those of parents."

Jeez, it's not like she was breast-feeding Elmo or anything (that job's reserved for fiancé Russell Brand).

The original leaked video generated more than 1 million views was subsequently taken down, but it's since been reposted by Perry herself and a number of users.

As rep for the "California Gurls" purveyor tells E! News: "Katy enjoyed working with Sesame Street, [Elmo puppeteer] Kevin Clash and playing dress up with Elmo. You can view all the fun at www.katyperry.com."
