Shannen Doherty Short on More Than Rhythm

Season's first Dancing With the Stars castoff supposedly owes nearly $150,000 in state taxes and loan payments

A fancy Beverly Hills zip code means nothing when it comes to unpaid bills.

Shannen Doherty has joined the ignominious club of celebrities who've fallen behind on their taxes at some point, the state of California having filed a lien against her for $44,064.58.

A rep for the recent Dancing with the Stars castoff told TMZ that Doherty was unaware of the filing until now but will be taking care of it ASAP.

Doherty's financial issues haven't been relegated solely to the tax arena, however.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, City National Bank sued Doherty in January for failing to make good on a $90,000 line of credit extended to her in December 2008.

The former star of Beverly Hills 90210 and Charmed was supposed to make good on the loan by last June; when that failed to happen, the bank extended the deadline to September, City National stated in its breach-of-contract suit.

Doherty's account remained delinquent as of January, per the filing, with the actress in the hole for $85,000 plus $1,709.32 in interest.
