Anne Heche Is a Crazy Bitter Divorcée
Anne Heche officially divorced Coley Laffoon in March, after two years of fighting it out, which is great for her. Time to get on with life now. Oh, and she just had a baby earlier this year, too. Even more reason to just move on.
But no. She was on Letterman last night and decided national TV was the appropriate place to trash-talk her ex, with whom she shares a 7-year-old son named Homer. It's a really classy, mature way to handle a personal matter.
She starts off just calling him a "lazy ass" and tries to make Dave feel bad for getting married. "Don't get married. Forever engaged is a wonderful romantic thing to do," she advises. Then there's this rant about her ex wanting to coach Homer's soccer team (is that a bad thing?) and finishes up by explaining what he does for a living as this:
"He goes out to the mailbox and he opens up the little mailbox door and goes, 'Oh! I got a check from Anne! Oh! I got a check from Anne! Yay!'"
Yikes. If this is what she's like in front of millions of people, we can only imagine how charming she must be in private. Now we all know crazy is just what Anne Heche does, but at least Celestia was entertaining. This was just downright ugh.
And what's this—Laffoon wants to respond? He tells Us:
"After coming home from showing two different clients two different condominiums, I was disturbed to see Anne taking out her personal frustration on the father of her child on national television."
See. He does do more than collect $3,700 a month in child support, he is also a real estate agent for Hilton & Hyland who showed two condos yesterday. Now let's all stop this nonsense.
