Late Night puts prez's declining approval ratings into perspective with help from R&B beats

Diddy may have cultivated a rep for being the sample king, but he apparently has a thing for covers, too.

We just never thought President Barack Obama's poll numbers would be his source material of choice.

Leave it to Jimmy Fallon and the Roots to find the—dare we say—hope in the prez's slightly declining approval rating, enlisting Diddy to bring home their Rasmussen poll-inspired (the poor man's Gallup) slow jam. It's no auto-tuning the news, but still.

Statistical noise never sounded so good.
