After the Bachelorette production team went to all the trouble of creating a romantic, innuendo-laden montage (moon between the palm fronds, the roaring tide coming in, etc.) to accomodate Jillian's night of sizzling congress with Ed, Mr. Sexy lays a big fat egg in the performance department.
The couple slather each other with oil, recline on a bed strewn with rose petals, surround themselves with candles, but weepy "nervous" mister Ed can't seem to close the deal with his horned-up potential fiancée. Unlike the other studs on the show.
What the cameras don't show is Ed leaving the room in shame, getting completely hammered at the hotel lobby bar and hooking up for a night of sloppy intercourse with a 47-year-old, 210-pound housewife from Akron.
