Not surprisingly, Jessica Alba is dealing in a different type of paper these days.
The actress has made an undisclosed donation to the United Way of Central Oklahoma as part of her apology for plastering a great white shark poster over one of the charity's billboards in a misguided attempt to draw attention to the deep-sea predator's dwindling population.
"We're very pleased she made a contribution," United Way spokeswoman Erin Brewer told the Oklahoman, adding that the money will go toward various good works around Oklahoma City.
The dollar amount was not disclosed, so the mailed-in contribution could equal anywhere between $500 and $9,999.
Local police confirmed Monday that they would not be pursuing vandalism charges against Alba for her role in the stunt, photographic evidence of which inevitably ended up online.
"I got involved in something I should have had no part of," Alba said in an apologetic statement last week.
