If the name Anna Chlumsky sounds familiar, it's probably because you were among the millions who fell in love with her big green eyes.

The actress stole hearts opposite Macaulay Culkin in 1991's My Girl, and now the 28-year-old Chlumsky is ready to do it again with two films in this year's Tribeca Film Festival. Needless to say, she's pretty happy about it.

"You plug along and you do your work and sometimes a lot of people see what you do," she told E! News at the premiere of The Good Guy Sunday. "I think it's so special that people know what I do. It all kind of comes together at once in this moment."

With her other movie In the Loop premiering tonight, the actress admitted she gets the sense at the festival that people are happy to see her return.

"I would be living under a rock if I thought that people don't know the movie My Girl and that it didn't mean something to people. I think that's been the blessing of growing up and having every fan of mine tell me what it meant to them…And yeah, people want to know what I'm doing and it kinda gives you a little extra oomph when you're doing your thing."

Chlumsky took a seven-year break from acting, during which time she earned a degree from the University of Chicago, worked for Zagat, and met her future husband, Shaun So.

We asked her if her idea of a Good Guy has changed since her days working with the Home Alone star.

"I've always kind of had a very pragmatic and very stalwart idea of what I wanted in a man, and honestly, I think I found that and more in my husband," she smiles. "There are good guys out there. There really, really are. You've just gotta be open for it. I think I actually kinda got what I envisioned when I was 10!"

With My Girl back in action, so did a slew of fans.
