Poll: Best Kanye West Diss of the Week
Kanye, I'm happy for you and Ima let you finish, but your rude-to-T.Swift moment and Internet meme makes you one of the biggest laughingstocks of all time. OF ALL TIME!
OK, we all agree on that, but what was the funniest Kanye riff of the week? Was it Kanye cutting off Obama or Obama calling Kanye a jackass? Maybe interludes of Kanye interruptus featuring dreamer Martin Luther King Jr., lousy free-throw shooter Shaquille O'Neal, vampire hottie Robert Pattinson or bromance boys Lance Armstrong and Matthew McConaughey? Or perhaps you preferred Jack White of the White Stripes "doing the Kanye" at the Toronto film fest? Take your pick in the poll below or give us your alternatives in the comments section.
Taylor Swift Will Not Discuss Kanye Anymore
It was radio interview day for Taylor Swift, who was making rounds promoting her single "You Belong With Me" reaching No. 1, being on People's list of Best Dressed Celebrities or her album going platinum.
The happy-times list goes on like so. In fact, the only thing she wasn't promoting was the Interrupting Kanye Incident.
During her interview with the MJ Morning Show on Tampa Bay's 93.3 (audio is here), T.Swift made her desire not to talk about Kanye very clear. The first time MJ asked her to describe what happened that fateful VMA night, Taylor explained:
Former Teachers Nun Too Pleased With Lady Gaga
If you were a part in the education of Lady Gaga at an early age, how would you feel about the current fruits of your labor?
Yeah, we're not sure either.
Teachers at the Convent of the Sacred Heart girls school in New York City, where a little Italian girl named Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta matriculated for several years, are shocked, according to the New York Post.
From her pantless outfits to her controversial staged death at the MTV Video Music Awards, there's not much a nun can really condone, whether Lady Gaga's work is considered art or not.
"When someone showed the nuns a video of her bloody performance at Sunday night's VMA Awards, the good sisters were not amused," a source tells the paper.
Were you?

From Madonna to Kanye: VMA Stands for Very Much Arranged?!
Let's think about this: Kanye West party-crashes Taylor Swift's Video Music Awards acceptance speech to rail about the results of a category, Best Female Video, in which he wasn't even eligible.
Uh-huh.
Maybe we buy the scene if West, a notorious bad loser, had lost to Swift, which, of course, he hadn't. Or if West isn't smart and savvy, which, of course, he is. Or, most of all, if we weren't already suspicious of the VMAs, which—ding! ding! ding!—we are.
Let's think about this. Conspiratorially.

"Rattled" Taylor Talks Kanyegate, AcceptsView-Guilted Apology
UPDATE: If you want something done, you've got to do it yourself call someone out on live television.
Just minutes after Taylor Swift confirmed on The View that, for all his attempts at public mea culpas, Kanye West had yet to personally contact her, the hip-hopper did just that.
"Kanye did call me and he was very sincere in his apology and I accepted that apology," Swift told ABC News radio of the sweet-talking phone call.
"The support that I got from other artists and from the fans and so many people sticking up for me, that's what got me to the place that I could accept that apology. I'm just very thankful that everyone showed me so much love."
Still, we won't be holding our breath for a duet.

See how much nicer TV appearances go when they aren't bum-rushed?
The seasoned pro that is Taylor Swift broke her silence on Kanyegate during a stop at Mother Hen HQ this morning, taking the ladies of The View through her thought process when she went up to, theoretically, accept her Best Female Video of the Year VMA Sunday night.
"I think my overall thought process went something like, 'Wow, I can't believe I won, this is awesome, don't trip and fall, I'm gonna get to thank the fans, this is cool...Oh, Kanye West is here. Cool hair cut. What are you doin' there?' And then, 'Ouch.' And then, 'I guess I'm not gonna get to thank the fans.' "
The Hills Are Alive With the Sounds of Bitchiness
Where in the world was Audrina Patridge on Sunday night?
As I was the first to tell you, Aud canceled her appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards because, several sources tell me, she didn't like the producers' idea of having her present with her Hills nemesis, Kristin Cavallari.
"They offered me a presenting spot and I declined," Audrina tells us.
She wouldn't elaborate on the offer, but Kristin insists she wasn't the reason for Patridge's last-minute no-show.

Kanye Apologizes Again, Feels Like a Real Focker
At least Kanye West didn't make up some nonsense about milking cats.
But the rapper still feels very Greg Focker-esque about putting a damper on Taylor Swift's big night at the MTV Video Music Awards and turning a slew of people against him in the process.
"I feel like Ben Stiller in Meet the Parents when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave," West wrote Monday on his blog. "That was Taylor's big moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry."
Sorry is right.
West continued his streak of odd VMA behavior Sunday, hopping onstage when Swift won for Best Female Video for "You Belong With Me" to congratulate her—with one minor caveat.
Will Fans Punish Kanye West—or Totally Not?
Will Kanye suffer from any real repercussions for upstaging Taylor Swift at the VMAs?
—SpikeESpikes, via Twitter
Please. Kanye West fans are Kanye West fans only partly because of his boppy music and his candylike sunglasses collection and his propensity for glow-in-the-dark stunts. Kanye fans also love him because he is a raging egomaniac. And in dissing Taylor Swift at the VMAs—during her acceptance speech, no less—he just gave those fans more of what they crave.
In fact, here's a theory that's bound to get the Swift fans steaming in their Frye boots...
Sean Penn Debuts New Girlfriend Amid NYC's Star-Studded Weekend Bashes
What a weekend for New Yorkers!
With the MTV Video Music Awards, Fashion Week, the U.S. Open and all the star-studded parties that come with them, so much fun stuff went down.
Let's start with the leggy.
Newly separated (again!) Sean Penn stepped out with Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Jessica White to celebrate fellow catwalker Noemie Lenoir's birthday at new hot spot Abe & Arthur's on Saturday night.
The following evening, Jay-Z's sleek VMAs afterparty took over 1Oak and included guests from Rihanna and Beyoncé to Justin Timberlake and Jessica Alba.
Outside, however, things took a dustier turn when Diddy had a "misunderstanding," as his rep tells E! News, with some cops. Worry not, the NYPD says no arrests were made, and all related parties seem to think the situation was "blown out of proportion."

Katy Perry: Andy Makes Her Cream, Idol Makes Her...Mean?
If Andy Samberg were single, Katy Perry would so be trying to make him jizz in his pants.
The perky pop singer can't get enough of the Saturday Night Live funnyguy.
"Oh...my...God! I just saw Andy Samberg," Perry, 24, stuttered to me on last night's VMA red carpet. "I know he's going out with someone, but he's so hot.
"Oh...my...God," she said again. "I'm going to freak out. I'm already creaming in my panties. Oh my God!"
Ms. Perry finally did get to meet Samberg. Keep reading to find out what happened. Plus, she dished on why she had to get brutally honest when she was a guest judge for American Idol...

Poor Kanye. Everyone's on Team Taylor
Taylor Swift's fans aren't the only people outraged by Kanye West's outburst at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The celebrities are backing the starry-eyed teenage titan as well.
"I feel really bad for Taylor Swift. I think it was really disrespectful," Kristin Cavallari told E! News in the press room.
"Dear Kanye, What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough??" Swift's fellow Best Female Artist nominee, Kelly Clarkson, blogged immediately after the event. "Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we're all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like s--t...I was actually nominated in the same category that Taylor won and I was excited for her, so why can't you be?"
They weren't the only ones...
Let the Kanye Remixes Begin: Obama Edition
You just don't mess with endearing and rabid-fan-based 19-year-old phenoms, m'kay?
But as long as Kanye West is crossing the line and going there, the ever-viral masses have released upon YouTube a 13-second (every one of them glorious) remix of the now roundly reviled hip-hop star's Beyoncé-favoring, Taylor Swift-deflating Video Music Award outburst.
This time, though, he doesn't go after America's sweetheart. He goes after America's president. As it happens, with perfect comedic timing.
Looks like even Barack Obama's on Team Taylor.
