Kris Jenner: Scott Disick "Has Come a Long Way"

One of the reality star's biggest critics says she's now supportive of Kourtney Kardashian's baby daddy

Despite Kris Jenner's threats to cut daughter Kourtney's baby daddy Scott Disick out of her life after his Miami meltdown, it seems she's had a change of heart.

"I think that Scott has really come a long way," she told me while doing press for the fifth season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. "My main concern is for my daughter Kourtney and my grandson Mason, and I think Scott had some issues he was really grappling with and has come around."

Although she's one of Scott's harshest critics, she even had some complimentary words for him today...

"He's actually a really good dad," Kris explained. "We're just being very supportive of Kourtney while Scott works on himself, and he's been great lately."  

"Great" never seems to last long when you're Scott Disick, but supportive sis Kim says she hopes this time will actually be different.

"I give her a lot of credit," Kim offered. "It must be hard to watch the show [Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami] back. They've dealt with this months ago and have had time to heal, and then you have to see it again and listen to everyone's comments over and over again."

Things would probably be easier to watch if Scott didn't act out, but that's just our two cents.

"I think they watch it and they think to themselves 'This was a bad place in our lives and we don't wanna get back there, so let's grow from this, let's move on this'," Kim said, adding that Kourt confides in her more than Khloé, who is adamantly anti-Scott.

As for whether the couple might be decamping to New York, as the season five trailer suggests, Kris said anything's possible.

"I'm not sure...you know as much as I do about that right now," Kris said, when asked whether Kourt and Scott might be making a move.

Whatever happens, patient patriarch Bruce Jenner says one thing's for certain: "She's not taking Mason," he said. 

"Kim will raise Mason!" Kris joked.
