Who is Jillian Michaels?

We all know Jillian as the fitness phenom from The Biggest Loser, but how much do we really know about her?

Jillian's new E! show Just Jillian is about to premiere and in celebration we think everyone should get to know her a little bit better.

So we did some research to find out more information about Jillian. What did we discover?

Let's take a look below at the 11 things you didn't know about Jillian Michaels!

1. She has two children with her partner Heidi Rhoades. In 2012 Jillian adopted her daughter Lukensia from Haiti, shortly after Lukensia's adoption Heidi gave birth to a son, Phoenix.

2. She just not that into fairytales. In a hilarious clip from Just Jillian, Jillian hilariously ruins a fairytale for her daughter by telling her, "I think Cinderella's probably pretty disillusioned with the real world. She was supposed to grow up in a fairytale. There aren't enough opportunities for young women these days." LOL!

3. She had night terrors as a child. Jillian told Redbook, "I was a really disturbed kid. You know how kids have night terrors? Mine were really bad. I thought sharks were coming out of the drain in the bathtub. I couldn't sleep at night, every night, waiting for aliens to come. I'm not kidding you: I. Was. Traumatized."

4. As a result, Jillian's mom put her in therapy when she was five and she still goes to therapy today!

5. Her parents divorced at the age of 12.

9. She graduated from California State University, North Ridge.

10. She once worked for entertainment agency ICM.
