Oh, how we've missed manic Carrie exploding on our screens on Homeland every week.  Seeing Claire Danes doing red carpet for the upcoming season means two significant things—1. We won't have to wait long for the new season to begin 2. We need to perfect our blowout skills pronto.

We've spent the summer letting our locks go au natural, but one look at Claire's bouncy blowout and we're convinced our unruly hair days are over.  We love that she didn't go the usual starlet route of ironed pin straight hair, but instead rocked her inner Hollywood goddess with those fun loosely-curled ends.

We're also obviously all about her simple yet beautiful makeup and on-trend coral lip. See, we told you that coral lips look good on everyone!

Get the Look: Start by going easy on the conditioner in the shower.  Opt for a light daily conditioner and rinse your hair as if you're getting paid to do it. If you go lazy on the rinse process, the residue from the conditioner can weight down your hair and it make it look greasy. No bueno.

Pat dry your hair with a towel (you don't want to rub it with the towel or you can create a frizzy disaster) and apply a light anti-frizz, heat protectant product like Matrix Essentials Sleek Look – Blow-Down Lite Lotion.

Next, flip your head and start drying your hair with your fingers. You want to get most of the moisture out and by drying your hair upside down you'll give your hair more volume.  Once hair is about 70% dry, start dividing it into 6-8 sections and pinning.

Make sure you're using a good hair dryer with a nozzle attachment, which will protect your tresses from direct heat and minimize frizz. Starting with the front sections, use a boar bristle brush like Spornette 955 Italian Double Bristle Boar Round Brush to dry hair section from root to ends, rolling up and then pulling away brush.

As you finish drying the front and top sections, roll them into large Velcro rollers to add volume and body while the hair cools.  As you dry the other sections, once a section is completely dry, roll it up with the brush, blast it with cool air and hold brush in place for 15 seconds to set.

If your hair doesn't play nice and refuses to hold those pretty curls, try using a large barrel curling iron. Wrap the bottom third of sections around curling iron and hold for 15 seconds.

Take out the curlers, and finish this look by spraying a light anti-frizz hairspray like Straight Sexy Hair Smooth & Seal Aerated Anti-Frizz And Shine Spray. DO NOT OVERSPRAY!! Too much hairspray can weigh down your hair and make it a limp, sticky disaster.

The best news about a good blowout? If done right, it should last longer than Carrie's moods.  So don't forget to go easy on the conditioner and the styling products and no matter how much you're tempted, don't touch it.  If you ignore our words of wisdom, don't come running to us when your hair looks like Carrie off her meds.
