If Florence Welch showed up to our sleepover in pajamas that looked even remotely like this we'd close the curtains, lock the doors and try to set her on fire by dropping lit matches to spare the world from this monstrosity.

She wasn't alone though, as she walked with ABC news anchor Cynthia McFadden to record a segment for her show.

Isn't Cynthia worried about ratings dropping once viewers see this disaster on the screen? Or, worse, the televisions exploding?

Outrageous outfits aren't exactly foreign territory for the 25-year-old, and if you need proof look no further than the Alexander McQueen bell dress she wore to the 2012 Met Gala on the same day.

Far be it for us to stifle creative fashion, but this is not just fug it's also completely unflattering.

We blame Lady Gaga for giving performers everywhere the false hope that by dressing like a baby alien you'll sell more records. That or our gal-pal Florence has a stylist who's out for revenge—and winning!
