How Long: An hour with commercials, 42 minutes without. It's so addictive that you'll end up binge-watching the entire first season in a day, and the second season in two days. Who needs sleep?Snack: Berries. You'll understand why halfway through season one. Why: This gritty, dark, smart and yet super underated show is hailed as the next Battlestar Galactica mixed with Lost and Lord of the Flies with elements of Game of Thrones mixed in for good measure. Yeah, it's just that good. Plus, we can't get enough of the fierce female leaders. This show is all about girl power!Where to Watch: Season one is on Netflix, season two is one iTunes and Hulu Plus

How Long: Here are your weekend plans! You have until Tuesday, June 17, to watch all nine episodes before the FX hit's finale...which everyone will be talking about (and probably ruin for you).Snack: Any diner fare, waffles, perhaps? Why: Only because it's our favorite new show of the year and just want everyone we know (and even everyone we don't know) to watch just so we can talk about it all the time. Is that so much to ask for?!Where to Watch: iTunes
How Long: A month-long trip to Westeros should do the trick. Snack: Order the official GOT cook book, A Feast of Fire and Ice, and try dishes tailored to each of the Seven Kingdoms, including lemon cakes for King's Landing and beef and bacon pie for the North. Why: You know how there are those shows you always kick yourself for not watching earlier, when all of your friends and your Twitter feed can't stop talking about it and you just nod along, feeling left out. Avoid that this time by getting hooked on HBO's fearless and relentless epic saga now. Warning: it'll break your heart. A lot. But in the best possible way. Where to Watch: HBO Go
How Long: Two weeks seems an appropriate amount of time. If you can resist pressing play on the next episode, that is. Snack: All the red wine and popcorn, all of it.Why: Tired of being left out of the water cooler (or Facebook) chat about Olivia and Fitz, B613, drunk Mellie and countries actually bidding on Olivia Pope? How Long: An hour with commercials, 42 minutes without. The entire season is only eight episodes long, easy peasy marathon! Snack: Bourbon. Only the strongest, most American bottle you can find! Why: Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) is fierce, strong, smart, confident, independent, but still vulnerable and a real woman. She's basically our idol. And just stock up on your go-to comfort foods because this show makes you feel all the emotions. (So. Many. Tears.)Why: Boasting one of the most impressive casts on TV (Lauren Graham, Peter Krause, Dax Shepard, Monica Potter, Erika Christensen, Sam Jaeger and Craig T. Nelson, and that's just the adult cast), this underrated gem of a drama was one of the most honest, heartbreaking and heartwarming portrayals of a family ever on TV. And we expect nothing less from Jason Katims, the man behind Friday Night Lights. May god bless and keep you always. (BRB, we're crying again.)Where to Watch: Netflix, iTunes (for the final season)

How Long: Summer-long investment for Buffy Summers!Snack: Scooby snacks and raw cookie dough. (In moderation, please don't sue us.)Why: So we're just going to come out and say it: Buffy Summers, as so perfectly played by Sarah Michelle Gellar, is the best female TV character of all-time, so there, that'll put marzipan in your pie plate, bingo! Add in an ensemble of equally well-developed friends (Willow! Xander! Giles!), Joss Whedon's top-notch dialogue and banter, and one of the small screen's most epic love triangles (the Angel vs. Spike battle still wages on), and you have one of TV's greatest shows. Abbi and Ilana are basically the love-children of Amy Poehler and Larry David...who were raised by wolves.Where to Watch: comedycentral.com, Hulu Plus, iTunes
How Long: Savor the witticisms by pacing yourself, though it will be hard.Snack: Too easy: Marshmallows, of course, and Soda Pop.Why: Veronica Mars had one of the finest first seasons of a recent TV show. Kristen Bell played the amateur sleuth in search of answers regarding her best friend's murder. There was mystery, comedy, a whole mess of drama and sweet, sweet resolution. The character continued to grow and solve crimes in the second season—a bus crash—and the third—a rapist, murder and several one-off cases. You should cap it all off with the feature film that picked up 10 years after Veronica graduated high school.Where to Watch: Amazon
How Long: Each episode clocks between 22 and 28 minutes (remember, this show was originally produced for NBC), so you could easily immerse yourself into Tina Fey's and Robert Carlock's brilliantly wacky world for a full day or savor over a weekend.Snack: Diet water, gummy sharks and shame burgers will do you well. Why: Because it's from the creator of 30 Rock, stars the delightfully sunny Ellie Kemper and comedy queen Jane Krakowski in roles they were born to play. How Long: A weekend. Embrace Valerie Cherish.Snack: Sip some of Valerie Cherish' standby, iced tea, while snacking on some chocolate cake or a frozen pound cake. Or if you're being good, a Zone Diet meal. Why: Because The Comeback is absolutely brilliant in every manner speaking. Lisa Kudrow co-created and stars in the comedy about Valerie Cherish, a desperate actress on a quest for fame. It was a bit before its time when the show's first season aired in 2005, but Valerie Cherish got her comeback in 2014 with a second season that will make you laugh, cringe and sob. Yes, it's that good.Where to Watch: HBO Go, Amazon Prime
