Likely to be Renewed: After premiering to an impressive 12.12 million viewers, the most recent episode of the highly anticipated Marvel off-shoot brought in 6 million viewers. But while ratings are declining, the show seems to have found its footing creatively after a shaky takeoff thanks to a major tie-in with Captain America 2. Plus, there's no way Marvel and ABC are going to cancel Marvel's first foray onto the small screen after one season. (And, there are rumors of a Peggy Carter-centric series swirling.)
Likely to be Canceled: While season one brought in solid ratings for the CW, season two hasn't once hit a million viewers, with the spring finale just squeaking by with 800,000 viewers. BATB is a strong contender for cancellation, but returns to finish out its sophomore season this summer. However, the show has one of the network's most passionate (and vocal) fanbases, which helped it to win our Save One Show campaign. And it does perform well internationally, sooo crazier things have happened!
Likely to be Renewed: Though the NBC reality hit's average in the demo was down slightly this season, you can expect to see the show come back, just a little lighter as Jillian Michaels reportedly wants off the show (again) after the controversy surrounding Season 14 winner Rachel Frederickson's alarming weight loss. (Sources tell us viewers can expect to see a few small tweaks next season.)
Likely to be Canceled: And we are so bummed! The CW's Sex and the City-prequel has little chance of coming back for a third season, sadly, with the season two finale pulling in a low 0.4 demo rating and under a million viewers. Let's all raise our imaginary cosmos to the charming coming-of-age drama, shall we? It was a lovely affair while it lasted.
Likely to be Renewed: While ratings have fallen ever so slightly, the show still averages nine or 10 million viewers on a weekly basis. Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic will definitely be back for a seventh season.
Likely to Be Renewed: The season, which saw the return of creator Dan Harmon, started out with around 3.5 million viewers, and has fallen to 2.5, but it's likely that the show will be renewed, given the creative resurgence and the fact that Bob Greenblatt said the series is a "strong" contender to come back. Plus, why not just go for six seasons and a movie at this point?!
Too Close to Call: While the Robin Williams-Sarah Michelle Gellar starrer received a pretty early full season pickup, it was the only freshman comedy left out of CBS' mass 18-series renewal earlier this year. Plus, the season finale notched a series low in the adults 18-49 demo, seriously injuring its renewal chances. On the other hand: Rob. In. Will. Iams. And. Sa. Rah. Mi.Chelle. Gel. Lar. Bitches.
Likely to be Canceled: The vampy drama probably won't live to see another season as the Jonathan Rhys Meyers starrer dropped to three million viewers after debuting to 5.26 million. Plus, there's not a lot of buzz around this bloodsucker.
Likely to be Renewed: You can keep your Rubik's cube and Flashdance-style sweater out of storage for at least one another season as ABC is likely to renew the ‘80s-set sitcom for a second outing.
Likely to Be Renewed (Maybe? -Ish?): While critically adored and boasting a small but devoted fanbase, Hannibal's season three chances are somewhat favorable, but hard to predict. While the numbers are still low, the most recent episode saw an increase in both viewers (2.93 million) and the demo (0.9). Plus, it's a solid performer for the net on Friday night.
Likely to be Renewed: Though the CW charmer brings in less than a million viewers each week (our hometown has more people in it), odds are the network will return to Bluebell in the fall. Why? It's fairly cheap to produce as it shoots on the WB lot. (Though we could see this being a final season hurrah for Rachel Bilson & Co.)
Likely to be Canceled: It doesn't take a super-chip implanted in your head to figure out that CBS isn't likely to renew the drama. The season one finale attracted just 5.5 million viewers and a low 1.2 in the demo.
Likely to be Renewed: To a fourth season and beyond! A renewal actually seems likely for Tim Allen's comedy, which has brought in decent numbers for ABC on Friday nights, usually topping its timeslot Iin the demo.
It's Complicated: Has Jane's story come to an end? With Bruno Heller heading to Fox's Gotham and the series-long mystery of Red John's identity solved earlier this season, it seems likely that CBS will end the procedural's run. The question is whether another network might pick it up. Rumors are swirling that The Mentalist is being shopped to other networks.
Likely to be Renewed: Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere will most likely be back for another season of singing and soapy storylines, y'all! With most of ABC's new dramas failing to register with viewers and Nashville's impressive DVR viewing (it grows about 50 percent in viewers), the drama seems like a lock to return, especially when they already promoted two recurring actors, Will Chase and Oliver Hudson, to series regulars for next year.
Too Close to Call: After being sent to TV's roughest night, Friday, ABC's alien comedy has failed to stand out amongst the night's supernatural offerings. But it's an ABC Studios-produced show, so they could very well want to see it hit a third season.
Likely to be Renewed (Fingers crossed!): While the recent season-four finale, which attracted a modest 3.7 million viewers, could've easily acted as a series finale, NBC boss Bob Greenblatt wants to see the ensemble drama return. "It's a show we love, it's doing really well, creatively, and we love Jason Katims," he said. "Everything's relative, but it's actually done better on Thursday at 10 than several things we've had there. I'm hopeful that we can get it to another season."
Too Close to Call: Last season's breakout hit has fallen hard in its second season. The drama is currently averaging 4.4 million viewers after returning to 6.8 million with its premiere in September. Plus, its dropped in the all-important demo, too (going from a 1.8 to a 1.2, with season one averaging a 2.7 rating). However, Revolution is still a solid performer for the peacock net on Wednesday nights and there's still a loyal fanbase.
Likely to be Canceled: After debuting low, the alien romance drama has continued to lose viewers, dropping to just 800,000 viewers recently. Expect to see The CW give this love story an unhappy ending.
Likely to be Renewed: The CW's action drama has failed to impress in the ratings, despite attracting a famous fan in William Shatner (who live-tweets each ep). The net renewed its other two new fall offerings, The Originals and Reign, highlighting just how dire TTP's chances are combined with the most recent episode hitting a series-low.
Too Close to Call: Though it's the lowest rated of ABC's four new comedies, critics adore the family comedy and it has an impressive cast in Malin Akerman, Bradley Whitford and Marcia Gay Harden, not too mention the stellar child stars. We could see ABC giving the series, which is produced by ABC Studios, a shortened season two order, with a potential move to a new night. (Cough—Wednesdays—Cough.)
Likely to be Renewed: The futuristic drama, set in the post-apocalyptic future, was the network's highest-rated series premiere of the season, drawing an impressive 2.6 million viewers. Hey, this is the CW we're talking about, so The 100 will probably score a slot on the fall schedule.
