Born and raised in Los Angeles, Calif., Dr. Terry Dubrow possesses a record of academic achievement that spans both coasts. After obtaining degrees in medical sciences from both Yale University and the UCLA School of Medicine, he went on to complete a residency in general surgery and was chief resident in surgery at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.
In addition to E!'s hit series Botched, Dr. Dubrow has been showcased extensively in several major television productions like Fox's The Swan and E!'s Bridalplasty. He has also been extensively featured on The View and Today, as well as in many written publications including People magazine, The New York Times and The Los Angeles Times.
Dr. Dubrow has authored more than 30 articles published in professional journals and has presented extensively to professional groups in surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a certified expert for the California Medical Board and has worked extensively as an expert in medical malpractice for the last 15 years. He is the author of the best-selling book The Acne Cure.
Dr. Dubrow is married to Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow.
