IRS: Christie Brinkley Is No Model Taxpayer
Christie Brinkley's tax vacation is gonna cost her, big-time.
E! News confirms that the former Sports Illustrated hottie owes the IRS a whopping half-million dollars in back taxes.
See? Even timeless beauties can't avoid Uncle Sam.
Here's the deal:
Ja Rule Gets More Ja-Jail Time for Tax Evasion
If "Pain Is Love" as Ja Rule puts it, he must be feeling like it's Valentine's Day.
The hip-hopster, who's currently serving two years in the Big House on a weapons conviction, has been sentenced to 28 months in a federal prison for tax evasion.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Patty Shwartz handed down the jail term stemming from Ja Rule's guilty plea in March to three counts of failing to file tax returns with the IRS for a whopping five years from 2004 to 2008.
Big Brother Pill Pusher Heading to Prison
Well, on the bright side, Big Brother 9 winner Adam Jasinski is already pretty used to being locked in a big house with a bunch of strangers, having his behavior monitored and otherwise living under constant surveillance. Now he gets to do it while wearing a kicky jumpsuit.
The former reality star was sentenced to four years in prison by a federal judge in Boston today after pleading guilty to both possession with attempt to distribute oxycodone and failure to file a tax return in 2008, the same year he won the show.
Which begs the question, did he learn nothing from Richard Hatch?
Crocodile Dundee Star Suing Aussie Feds Over Failed Tax Probe
If Paul Hogan has his way, he probably wouldn't mind throwing a few Aussie officials on the barbie.
The erstwhile Crocodile Dundee star is filing an $80 million lawsuit against Australian authorities for allegedly damaging his good name and rep when they conducted a five-year criminal investigation into his tax dealings—but no charges were ever filed against him.
Crikey!

We need to know: just how much is Marc Anthony indebted to Uncle Sam?
Jennifer Lopez's superstar husband has got a major tab running with the Internal Revenue Service to the tune of $3.4 million in unpaid taxes, E! News has learned.
Good thing the couple's got her humongo American Idol paycheck to fall back on.
Lookie Which Survivor Champ Might Be Heading Back to Prison
Hint: it's exactly who you think it is.
That's right, Richard Hatch—he of the perpetual legal trouble—has been accused of violating probation in his infamous tax evasion case and could very well be heading back behind bars because of it.
So what'd he do this time?
Five Things to Know About Wesley Snipes' Prison Stint
As recently as Tuesday, Wesley Snipes was griping about having to spend the holidays behind bars. But guess what? You don't (allegedly) bilk the federal government out of millions of dollars in federal taxes without spending a little time in the clink.
So he's going. For three years. Starting today, actually, as Snipes reported to Pennsylvania's McKean Federal Correctional Institute this morning to begin serving out his sentence.
But what, exactly, will he be doing during his stay? (Other than holding on tight to the soap, that is?) Here are five things you should know about Snipes' prison stint:
Wesley Snipes Fights for New Trial...Again
It's not the first appeal, and who knows if it'll be the last! What we do know is Wesley Snipes is no quitter.
After what was thought to be a sure-fire road to prison, the Blade star has proven that he can whittle his way out—or at least prolong the sentence.
So here we go again.
Tax Cheat? Ripoff Artist? Pamela Anderson Tangos With Trouble
A romantic rumba will only get you so far.
Unfortunately, the government doesn't really care that Pamela Anderson scored a 47 on last night's Dancing With the Stars. She still needs to pay her taxes.
The former Baywatch babe is in the red for more than $493,000 in personal income taxes, according to an annual list of 250 delinquents with at least six-digit liens released yesterday by the California Franchise Tax Board.
Her attorney has yet to comment on the case, but that's not the leggy lady's only legal drama these days.
