It sure seemed like Susan Boyle, that lovable lil' bundle from Britain, could do no wrong. The unlikely lass has gone from unknown village warbler to international singing sensation, all the way to the stage of The View this very morning.
But right there on live TV, amid enough stage fog to choke a moor, Boyle delivered a big throaty lump of coal on the cherished Christmas classic "O Holy Night."
Apparently she was unaware that this was live, spontaneous and real. Unlike American Idol.

Just as the world sat down after giving a standing ovation to Betty White's hilarious Saturday Night Live hosting gig, it got right back up on its feet again for the latest Susan Boyle wannabe, Janey Cutler, on Britain's Got Talent.

Susan Boyle's Teen Burglar Busted

She's fielded a marriage proposal (kind of), turned Adam Lambert (not like that), and witnessed justice being served (no qualifiers necessary!). All in all, a pretty full week for Susan Boyle.
A teenage boy was arrested and charged this morning after breaking into Casa SuBo earlier this year. The break-in went down in late January, when Boyle returned from a highly publicized trip away to record Simon Cowell's Haiti charity single.

"A 16-year-old youth has been arrested and charged in connection with a theft that happened at a property in Yule Terrace, Blackburn, on 26 January," a spokesman for the local police confirmed.
Since the allegedly sticky-fingered supect is a minor, his identity has not been revealed, though he has been ordered to report to the Children's Reporter, the Scottish government's program for troubled or at-risk children.

According to the British tabloids, Susan Boyle fainted at London's Heathrow Airport on Tuesday, when she was waiting to board a flight en route to Nice.
So what went down? Other than, you know, SuBo.
