Smallville Star Begins Yearlong Prison Sentence for Hawking Hillbilly Heroin
This ain't no Lindsay Lohan sentence. This is the real deal.
Former Smallville star Sam Jones III checked into federal prison last week to begin serving a nearly yearlong sentence for his admitted role in a massive drug ring after pleading guilty last year to conspiracy to sell more than 10,000 oxycodone pills.
If only Clark Kent's alter ego could save him now.

Watch Now: The Smallville Cast Flies Back to the Pilot
So what if the final episode of Smallville aired months ago and we still haven't found the strength to move on? We're just trying to take it day by day!
Thankfully, we've got an exclusive look at some behind-the-scenes footage from Smallville: The Complete Series (out on DVD tomorrow), and it's helping ease the pain for now. Especially because it takes us back to the very beginning: the pilot. How young Tom Welling looks!
Check out the clip above, and we'll see you in the comments for some "We miss Smallville" mourning.
Sucks to Be This Smallville Actor: He Loses Girlfriend to Hefner, Now He's Going to Prison!
Lex Luthor, you're getting a new cell mate.
Sam Jones III, the 28-year-old actor who played Clark Kent's best buddy on the first three seasons Smallville, was sentenced today to a year in prison for conspiring to sell more than 10,000 doses of kryptonite the painkiller oxycodone, better known by its street name "hillbilly heroin."
And that might not even be the worst thing that happened to him in the past week...
Smallville Finale: Clark Kent Saves the World and Gets the Girl—and a Cape!
A wedding is usually cause for celebration, but, sigh, not when it means that Smallville is over for good. (And not when the best man tries to insert a kryptonite ring into the festivities, either, but we'll get to that...)
In the end, Tom Welling's Clark Kent got the future he was always destined for—Erica Durance's Lois Lane and some natty Superman threads—but it's still hard to believe that 10 seasons just whooshed by faster than a speeding bullet.
As executive producers Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson promised us, the series finale provided at least a modicum of resolution for all and an absolutely adorable scene involving a door...

Celebrating 10 Seasons: The Cast of Smallville Looks Back
The bad news is that Smallville's final episode airs tonight, and then we have to learn to deal with a TV world without Clark Kent, Lois Lane and the rest. But the good news is that the end of Smallville means we get to hear from the awesome cast about what the show has meant to them, and what the finale holds for their characters.
Tom Welling, Erica Durance, Michael Rosenbaum and Cassidy Freeman also take the time to thank their fans, plus we've got some pretty epic behind-the-scenes footage of Michael and Tom filming a crucial scene:

Smallville Bosses Thank You for 10 High-Flying Seasons
Tonight, we have to say goodbye to Smallville after 10 remarkable seasons. And even though we get a two-hour send-off, it's still going to be hard to watch those characters fly off our TV screens for good. And you know what's going to make it even harder? Now, go grab something to mop your face with and let's settle in to read...
Smallville Bosses Spill Series Finale Secrets!
If we don't write about the final episode of Smallville, does that mean it's not really happening? No? Damn.
Unfortunately, TV doesn't quite work that way. But on the plus side, ending a fan-favorite show like Smallville after 10 seasons means that the two-hour send-off is going to be epic. Just how epic? Executive producers Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson talked to the press today about what's coming up for Smallville's exciting conclusion, and we know this scoop will only get fans more excited for Friday...

Justin Hartley Spills on His Smallville Directorial Debut and His Favorite Lois & Clark Scene
Most actors are double threats. They can act and sing. Or they can act and write their own episodes. Or walk and chew gum at the same time. (We kid!) Anyway, Smallville's Justin Hartley is doubling up as well with directing and acting. And the world will see his directorial debut in tonight's episode, "Dominion."
When we got him on the phone to talk about being behind the camera and in front of it, he wasn't afraid to admit it was a tough job. No sugarcoating here. That's one of many reasons why we adore him. Need more reasons? Plus swoonworthy Chloe, Lois and Clark info? All you have to do is read on:

Smallville: We, for One, Welcome Our New Metallic Overlords from the Future
He's here! Booster Gold is here! One of the most absurd (yet sexy) superheroes in the DC Universe, Booster Gold is ridiculously good fun, and he perfectly portrayed in tonight's all-new episode of Smallville by one Eric Martsolf.
We just caught up with Eric to find out what prop he used to snag the part, what tie he has to fan fave Justin Hartley, and why his character is crucial to establishing the Superman legend:
