Morning Bitch-Back! Could Blake Lively Be Too Talented for Leonardo DiCaprio?

Dear Ted:
Though I am a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio's acting ability, I've noticed so many people are a bit quick to write off Blake Lively's talent, which does exist and was proven in her small but noteworthy role in The Town (she really owned it). How long do you think this pairing will last? Because if Leo's last gal (Bar) is any indication, he seems to like his women as pretty arm candy without too much talent—might be competition for him. Am I being too harsh here or is there some validity in this suspicion?

Beg to differ, babe. I think when Blake takes herself too seriously—à la her not-quite-Bostonian accent in that par-tick Ben Affleck flick—her acting is not noteworthy in a good way. Not to say she isn't talented, though. She's just taking the wrong roles. Her best work to date is playing the role of a B-list actress that doesn't absolutely love the attention she's getting from dating the hottie from Titanic. But enough of this wannabe incognito crap already, B!

UPDATE: Call off the angry mob! Shakira's rep assures us that despite how it looks, the ring was not stolen.
"There is no truth to this report. A fan grabbed her hand and she looked down. Her ring is still visible on her hand as she continued to walk through the crowd."

Normally, it's the singer who wants her fans to give her a hand. During Shakira's concert in Monterrey, Mexico, last week, it was quite the opposite.
While performing during the April 7 event—video of which has only just been released—one particularly sticky-fingered "fan" made off with more than just a handshake, and was caught on camera removing one of the pop superstar's rings as she walked by.
Shakira quickly noticed that her bauble had been deftly and dastardly removed, but as the perp had already disappeared into the crowd—and she was already midsong—after glancing first at her suddenly ringless hand and then back at her fans, she took the thieving quite literally in stride and didn't miss a beat, continuing her walk back to the stage.
There's no word on whether the thief was caught or whether the lifted ring was of particular value, but still. It may be the ultimate concert souvenir, but that's pretty low.
Shakira Breaks Up With Longtime Boyfriend

Though they denied the rumors last year, the Colombian crossover star and boyfriend Antonio de la Rúa have indeed split up after spending a decade together, she revealed today on her blog.
But it doesn't exactly sound as if they've gone their separate ways...

Party-starter Ke$ha, whose new song "We R Who We R" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Charts last week, was spotted Wednesday bronzing (or at least trying to) with some buddies just off the shores of Sydney, Australia.
