After all, a picture's worth a thousand words, and celebrity mug-shots are no exception. So what exactly are this year's crop of finest forward-facing, misbehaving star pics saying?

But if anything might send her careening back to the dark side, it's the latest round of reports claiming that LiLo's One That Got Away—namely, Samantha Ronson—is engaged to her new girlfriend Erin Foster.
According to the National Enquirer, SamRo was the one who got down on proverbial bended knee and popped the question to her partner, who just happens to be the daughter of music mogul David Foster.

Lindsay Lohan scored an invite to last weekend's hottest event (that'd be Kim Kardashian's wedding), but it looks like she missed another big bash in L.A. last night.
It seems all but one of the Hollywood socialite set attended the bash for Charlotte Ronson's Sephora cosmetics line.
Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Nicole Richie, Samantha Ronson, Rashida Jones and Lake Bell were all spotted at the soiree held at Il Sole, but LiLo was MIA.

What happens in Las Vegas may stay there, but what happens when you're heading back may follow you all the way home.
Samantha Ronson has been charged with two misdemeanors stemming from her Aug. 1 DUI bust near Baker, Calif., a town with a population of about 735 that's mainly known for being a rest stop between Los Angeles and Vegas.
Ronson, unfortunately, didn't get much of a rest there.

By now you've heard the details of Samantha Ronson's DUI bust—she wound up in the drunk tank after the California Highway Patrol pulled her over before 10 in the morning (the morning!) on Monday.
Now, her arrest has been commemorated with this, er, lovely portrait courtesy of the San Bernadino County Sheriff's Department.
Seems Sam is none too pleased by the turn of events. Or she's just a little camera-shy. Or, just maybe, she's not a morning person.

With Lindsay Lohan behaving herself for the past five minutes, it's her old pal Samantha Ronson who's picking up the bad-girl torch.
The star DJ, who tends to stay out of trouble, was nabbed Monday for a DUI, confirms the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. The drunken-driving charge is bad enough. But it's the time of day that she was busted that has us scratching our head.

Following Amy Winehouse's tragic death Saturday at the age of 27, many of her fellow celebrities took to Twitter to mourn the loss of the Grammy-winning "Rehab" singer and the magnificent talent that, sadly, appears to have been cut short by an ongoing addiction to drugs and alcohol.
"Dear God have mercy!!! I am SICK about this right now!" a shocked Rihanna wrote on her page, adding "U made a MAJAH impression on this industry and throughout the world, in such a short space of time...too short!"

You gotta hand it to Samantha Ronson. Despite taking a nasty spill on her bicycle while dodging a vehicle in Venice this weekend, the gal's sense of humor was obviously unharmed.
