While most everybody else is saying good riddance to Kim Jong Ill, North Korea's longtime tyrant has at least one fellow dictator in tears.
Never one to let a great publicity opp go untapped, Sacha Baron Cohen has released a statement in the guise of his latest alter ego, the titular role in his forthcoming The Dictator, mourning the loss of North Korea's "dear leader," who died Saturday.
Sacha Baron Cohen's The Dictator Trailer Kills!
He pushed the envelope and then some with Ali G, Borat and Brüno. And now Sacha Baron Cohen's topping himself with his most audacious character of all.
The first trailer for the funnyman's latest comedy, The Dictator, invaded the Web today and by the looks of it and an appearance from Megan Fox, you'll either die laughing or want to toss him in a military prison for going too far.
So what does Baron Cohen have up his sleeve this time around?
New Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted Trailer: It's Still a Jungle Out There!
Ah, another movie, another attempt to get back home to New York City.
In this trailer for the third installment of the popular Madagascar series, our fearless (OK, a little fearful) friends Alex the lion (Ben Stiller), Marty the zebra (Chris Rock), Gloria the hippo (Jada Pinkett Smith) and Melman the giraffe (David Schwimmer) once again have their work cut out for them. This time, however, the action takes place in and around Monte Carlo as the foursome try to evade animal control. (Trust us, it'll make more sense after you watch the clip above.)
Oh my! What to do? How can they possibly get through Europe without attracting attention? Well, how about joining a traveling circus? Um, yeah, good luck with that.
Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted is scheduled to hit theaters on June 8, 2012.

That's the word from a California Appeals Court, which refused to overturn a lower-court decision dismissing a lawsuit brought by Richelle Olson and her husband against the funnyman and NBC Universal over his 2009 comedy Brüno.
Guess she got schtupped.

Steven Spielberg may not want to have anything to do with Megan Fox. But that doesn't seem to be slowing the gal down at all.
Sure, director Michael Bay told GQ that the Oscar-winning filmmaker had him get rid of the actress before rolling on the latest Transformers flick after Spielberg (the movie's executive producer) supposedly took issue with Fox's comment that Bay "wants to be like Adolf Hitler."
However, it looks like the stunning star may not need that film franchise, anyway.

We're sure Brüno would have something to say about this beard.
But since he's not around, we'll take it upon ourselves to say that Sacha Baron Cohen's facial fur here—and the way it perfectly complements the hair on his head—is pretty insane in this first glimpse at the controversial comedian's character in The Dictator.
Cohen's film is loosely based on the novel Zabibah and the King, written by none other than Saddam Hussein—who probably wished he could have looked this awesome!
The Dictator takes over theaters next May. Ready for more laughs from this classic funnyguy?

Well, kinda. Cohen is adapting a bestselling novel that the deceased Iraqi dictator wrote, for a movie announced today, appropriately called The Dictator.
