Ryan Phillippe is taking any remaining mystery out of whether he's the baby daddy to ex-galpal Alexis Knapp's new baby girl.
In fact, the actor is so sure he's the father, he won't even be taking a paternity test, a source close to Knapp tells E! News.
In fact, Phillippe was present and accounted for when Knapp gave birth to the baby girl last Friday.

And Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe appear to be abiding by that rule, as evidenced in this smiley picture taken Saturday in Brentwood at their son Deacon's soccer game.
One photographer on the scene told X17online that, despite putting on the happy front, the two barely spoke. But so what? At least they didn't make a spectacle of themselves!
After the match, they all walked out to the parking lot together. Deacon left with his dad, and Witherspoon met up with her new hubby, Jim Toth, for lunch.

Sometimes you can't believe everything you read. Or, if you're the folks over at the New York Post's Page Six, everything you hear.
It seems the paper's gossip section quoted Ryan Phillippe this morning as saying he's planning on hanging up his Hollywood hat.
"I think I'm going to end my acting career," he reportedly told Page Six. "I'm so introverted. I'm ready to be behind the scenes. I'm 36, but I've been doing this for 20 years."
However, a rep for the actor insists that's just not the case.

According to an eyewitness, the couple asked for a table but were told none were available. Ouch! Guess the server didn't recognize them.
Seyfried and Phillippe opted for seats at the sushi bar instead where they proceeded to makeout throughout their dinner!

Coincidences never exist in Hollywood, come on. Reese's relationship with Jake was nothing like what's going on with her agent-turned-fiancé. There's more than just an image. These two are totally in love, and good for them. The woman needs to move on, as Jake did with all his rebound ladies. A year is a perfectly decent amount of time to date someone when getting married at this point. Plus, she can't let ex Ryan Phillippe out-score her in the postdivorce romance department. Wonder if Ry and Jake got invites to the quickie nuptials, and who their dates would be?

You know who wasn't surprised when word got out that Ryan Phillippe's ex-girlfriend is pregnant?

A source assures E! News that, contrary to a report stating otherwise, the Lincoln Lawyer star was not "blindsided" by news of Alexis Knapp's expectant status, nor of her assertion that he's the father.
"He was the first to know," the source says. "She was sure it was his baby because they had just broken up. She doesn't date around and she hasn't dated anyone since him."
So, now that the ball's in Phillippe's court...
