Hey girl, Ryan Gosling has heard your cries of injustice. And (swoon alert), he's not having any of it.
What with Russell Crowe stepping up to fight the good fight against the Academy, calling "bulls--t" on its failure to laud the Drive and Ides of March star with an Oscar nomination this year, Gosling's diehard fans have been left free to focus on the much more glaring oversight that's spurned their fair Gos of late: namely, his not being named People's Sexiest Man Alive.
Yes, that two-month-old injustice is still grabbing headlines. And don't expect it to stop anytime soon, especially now that the man himself has spoken out about the heinous snub. So, what does he have to say about getting passed over as man candy of the year?

If there's one thing we know about Russell Crowe, it's that you don't want to piss him off.
Turns out that the volatile Oscar winner, who's been known to use phones as weapons of mass destruction, was a big fan of Drive, and he's none too happy that its two acclaimed stars, Ryan Gosling and Albert Brooks, were passed over for Oscar noms on Tuesday.
Crowe hit up Twitter yesterday to rant about the snubs and give the Academy a piece of this mind.

Guess not everyone thought this year's Oscars were a total flop. In fact, one standout moment might've even secured Anne Hathaway a pretty prestigious new gig.
E! News has confirmed that the A-list actress with the powerful pipes has formally signed on to star alongside Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe in the surely Academy-baiting movie musical (directed by The King's Speech's Tom Hooper, no less), Les Misérables.

When it comes to Superman's father, this is definitely not your daddy's.
Russell Crowe, who portrays the hero's biological pop Jor-El in the upcoming Man of Steel, gave us our first glimpse of his get-up on the movie's Vancouver set earlier this week.

And while it's a far cry from the ultra-white outfit that Marlon Brando wore on the planet Krypton in the 1978 film starring Christopher Reeve, it does seem pretty consistent with the look and feel of what his son will eventually be sporting here on Earth when the Zack Snyder reboot hits theaters on June 14, 2013.
So, do you like Crowe's costume? Or should they have simply brought back Brando's brighter duds?

The Australian Oscar winner has signed on to play Inspector Javert opposite Jackman's Jean Valjean in the latest big-screen version of Les Misérables, this one an adaptation of the smash-hit Broadway musical featuring composer Claude-Michel Schoenberg's original score
So, Crowe's going to be singing. On his own!
