Paul McCartney Joins Beatle Bandmates on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
The stars are once again in alignment.
Paul McCartney became the final member of the Beatles member to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today, two days after the release of his latest album, Kisses On The Bottom.
The 2,460th star was placed right where we'd expect it to be—next to fellow band members, Ringo Starr and the late George Harrison and John Lennon, in front of the Capital Records building.

McCartney was introduced by fellow musician Neil Young, who said the 69-year-old was "at the top of his game."
"Like Charlie Chaplin was a great actor, that's how I look at Paul, he's at the top," Young said. "And yet even with all of that craft that he has and his ability to put melodies and chords and feelings together, it's the soul that comes out of his music and everything that he does that makes me feel so good and so happy to be here with him and honor him today."
When it came to who the singer felt deserved some recognition for his success, well, you can guess who he spoke about.
"Way back in history, in Liverpool when we were kids and we were listening to Buddy Holly and all the rock 'n' roll greats, I would have never thought that the day would come when I'd be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame," McCartney said. "That was like an impossible thing to happen. But here we are today, and it's happening. But I couldn't have done it without, certainly, three boys—so I want to say thanks to those guys, John, George and Ringo...I couldn't have done it without them, so I want to thank those guys and bless them for being in my life."
