Déjà vu?

A day after we reported that Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife, Heather Mills, told BBC's Newsnight that journalists illegally accessed her voicemail, the former Beatles star revealed he too is a victim of Britain's infamous phone-hacking scandal.

While promoting his upcoming 9/11 benefit concert on Showtime at a panel for the Television Critics Association press tour, McCartney told reporters he was a victim of computer hacking by Rupert Murdoch's News Corps.

"When I go back [to Britain] after this tour, I am going to talk to the police because apparently I have been hacked," he says.

"I don't know much about it because they won't tell anyone except the person themselves. So I will be talking to them about that. I do think it's horrendous violation of privacy. I do think it has been going on for a long time, and I do think more people than we know knew about it."

The singer also said he will listen to the facts before commenting any further.
