Having already proven that he's a whiz with a green screen when he delivered the world's poshest weather report earlier this month and made commuters fear for their safety while manning the London Underground earlier this year, the heir to the throne this week tried out his hand at yet another possible avocation: spinning some phat beats.

The winner of American Idol has been revealed.
First, Jennifer Lopez debuted her new single, "Going In," on what was most likely her last night as an Idol judge. Aerosmith performed. There were tributes to Donna Summer and Robin Gibb. All of the finalists got to sing with previous Idol champs and the occasional legend. Ace Young asked Diana DeGarmo to marry him.
But it came down to that last minute, to the result based on the record 132.3 million votes cast in favor of either Phillip Phillips or Jessica Sanchez. Did the 21-year-old pawn-shop worker take it all, or did the 16-year-old powerhouse finally the break the guys' winning streak?

While Lady Gaga was denied a permit for her June 3 show in Jakarta following Islamic protests over her risqué persona, MTV News reports that the singer's promoters are apparently in talks with government officials in hopes that the concert can still take place.

Donna Summer Funeral Set for Today; Disco Queen Gets American Idol Tribute and Library of Congress Honor

Donna Summer will be laid to rest today.
A private funeral is scheduled to be held at a church in Nashville, her family confirms, with about 1,000 invited guests expected to attend.
And later tonight, the disco queen, who passed away last week at the age of 63 following a battle with cancer, will also be remembered during the finale of American Idol.
Ray J Released From Hospital Following Blood Clot Worries

Ray J is back home in Los Angeles after being released from a Las Vegas-area hospital on Tuesday.
The singer initially checked into the unnamed medical facility earlier in the week for exhaustion and jet lag, but a rep for the artist tells E! News that he was given a clean bill of health "following an extensive battery of tests to make sure that he did not have a blood clot in his lungs which is potentially a deadly condition that can occur following a long-haul plane flight."
