Mickey Rourke is blaming it on the journalist.
"When I talked to you, I was at a party. It was loud and crowded, I was in a s---ty mood and I was trying to get rid of your reporter," the Oscar nominee tells New York magazine's Vulture blog, the outlet that first printed some rather unenthusiastic comments he made about his latest film, Passion Play, and costar Megan Fox.

Signing on to any role these days is big news for Lindsay, darling. And you're right, this could be her big comeback or her not-so-graceful exit from the spotlight. But we're going to have to wait to see who else signs on to the project before we can decide. Oh, and we think L.L. shares more in common with Linda Lovelace than their initials, but that's a different story.

Here in the U.K. there have been reports that Glee's Lea Michele is really not so nice. And I'm seriously hoping that's not true, as she seems like a good person and role model, not to mention she is supertalented. So tell me, is Lea nice or not? Mickey Rourke's Model Girlfriend Doesn't Want to Be Seen With Him?
After Mickey Rourke and his model girlfriend Anastasia Makarenko had dinner at Boa in Hollywood, she wasn't in the mood for any pictures.
Once the couple exited the restaurant, Ana quickly tried to duck away from her date, who didn't seem to mind the attention.
The Iron Man 2 star posed for pics and signed autographs while answering questions about his Passion Play costar Megan Fox, whom he described as "wonderful."
But his ladylove wasn't having any of it and finally flipped out on shutterbugs...

Robert Downey Jr. doesn't need help looking good, but he has plenty of backup at the red carpet premiere of Iron Man 2.
The titular metal dude was joined at Hollywood's El Capitan by some of the film's cast, which is jam-packed with some of our favorite people including Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson, Mickey Rourke, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, director Jon Favreau and even our own colleague, G4's Olivia Munn (who has a role in the film).
We've been waiting to see this sequel pretty much since we walked out of the first one, and so we cannot wait for May 7 to finally get here so we can see it too.

Is icy Gwyneth Paltrow pestering the catering department for precise cooking requirements on her free-range-only chickens?
Or maybe it's ScarJo, still trying to keep her relationship with hunky hubby Ryan Reynolds secret by requiring closed-sets only when he visits?
And don't even get us started on how many possibilities reformed-again bad boy Robert Downey Jr. conjures up...
